It has been almost 3 years since I have written a public blog online...but since the birth of our baby girl is fast approaching, I guess now is as good a time as any to start re-start one to keep all of our family and friends (world wide) up to speed on our soon to be changing life!

I'm not exactly sure how to 'start' a blog...I have no fancy words or wit, so lets just pretend I've been blogging all along.

I am 32 weeks pregnant today. Our baby girl is due June 16th and as of right now she is transverse - lying sideways in my belly :) I guess it's the most comfortable way to be right now for her. If she doesn't get head down by 40 weeks they may try a version (flipping her using hand techniques from the outside)..but if she refuses to turn: c-section it is...My hearts desire is to go natural and have a 'normal' delivery, but if she doesn't want to: God is sovereign!

I thought I would post this short video from our appointment this morning. It's the sound of our baby girl's heart beat, speeding along around 140 or so. It's such a miracle that I have a little life growing inside of me!!!! Wow...we can't wait to meet her!




Ok, well I know this is short but I need to get going to work.

Here's to the beginning of this unknown voyage that awaits us in the coming months! Thankfully God is at the helm!
